The Resistance Campaign has been organized by Not Dead Yet UK (NDYUK), a network of disabled people in the UK opposing the legalisation of assisted suicide and euthanasia.
We are calling on all MPs to sign up to the Resistance Charter declaring that they will support palliative care and independent living services and maintain legal protection for all people who are terminally ill or disabled.
We welcome support from all those who share our aims and encourage them to sign our petition, publicise the charter and ask their own MPs to sign.
The Resistance Charter was drafted by a group of disabled people’s leaders coordinated by NDYUK Convenor Baroness Jane Campbell DBE.
The Resistance Campaign has been sponsored by Care Not Killing, an alliance of almost 50 organisations promoting good care and opposing euthanasia, and including professional groups, disability rights groups, human rights groups, healthcare providers and faith-based organisations.
